INDIA, Medieval. Kadambas of Hangal. temp. Shantivarma, circa 1075-1094. Pagoda (Electrum, 21 mm, 3.32 g). Central punch with Hanuman in center surrounded by four punches with stylized lion to right, a weak punch with temple and two punches with 'SRI'. Rev. Punch with Hanuman and striations. Mitchiner, South I, 274. Minor edge crack and with a somewhat wavy flan, otherwise, good very fine.
