Licinius I, 308-324. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 3.17 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 320. IMP LIC-INIVS AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Licinius I to right. Rev. VOT / X•V / R S in three lines within wreath. RIC -. Apparently unique. Minor weakness, otherwise, good very fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, ex Classical Numismatic Review XX.2 Supplement, Summer 1995, 444.

In RIC VII, this type was described exclusively based on two examples of Constantine Caesar. This is the single known specimen of Licinius I with the exceedingly rare 'VOT/ XV' reverse.
