CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Bellovaci. Circa 60-30/25 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 5.94 g, 1 h), 'à l'astre' type. Devolved and disjointed male head to right, with prominent nose, big eye and a star on the temple. Rev. Horse galloping right; above and below, radiant suns. DT 271. LT 7235. Scheers série 25, fig. 163 var. A lovely example with a particularly attractive obverse. The reverse struck slightly off center and with minor marks , otherwise, good very fine.
