Description

Anonymous, 6th century. Half Siliqua (?) (Silver, 14 mm, 0.94 g, 4 h), Constantinopolis. Helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantinopolis to right. Rev. Large K. Bendall, Anonymous silver, RN 158 (2002), Type 8. Lightly toned and sharp. Struck on a somewhat irregular flan and with minor marks on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
