Description

HUNNIC TRIBES, Nezak Huns. Circa 600-650. AE (Bronze, 22 mm, 3.16 g, 12 h), later phase. Bust with elongated skull to right, wearing diadem and winged crown with bull's head, earrings and pearl necklace with two ribbons; below, winged ornament; to right, uncertain legend in Baktrian. Rev. Bull standing left with ribbon attached to his neck and a star between his horns. Göbl 270. Vondrovec, Type 270. Rare. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
