MOESIA INFERIOR. Nicopolis ad Istrum (?). Pseudo-autonomous issue. Tessera (Bronze, 14 mm, 0.84 g), 1st-3rd centuries AD. Triangle set on globe. Rev. Crescent; above, three stars. A highly unusual item with an enigmatic obverse type. Pierced, otherwise, nearly very fine.
