SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Septimius Severus, 193-211. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 10.86 g, 12 h), circa 205-207. AYT KAI CЄOYPOC CЄB Laureate head of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. ΔHMAPX•ЄΞ•YΠA•TO•Γ• Eagle with spread wings standing facing on leg and thigh of a sacrificial animal, head to right and holding wreath in beak. McAlee 659a. Prieur 200. Minor flan faults, otherwise, good very fine.
