EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Tetradrachm (Billon, 24 mm, 11.98 g, 12 h), RY 8 = 123/4. ΑΥ[Τ ΚΑI] ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ CЄΒ Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with aegis on his left shoulder. Rev. L - Η Draped bust of Serapis facing, wearing kalathos, set on eagle with spread wings standing front, head to left. Dattari (Savio) 1466 = RPC III online 5442.3 ( this coin ). Emmett 890.8. K&G 32.255. Extremely rare. Slightly corroded and somewhat rough, otherwise, nearly very fine.
