Pupienus, 238. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 23.83 g, 12 h), Rome, circa April-June 238. IMP CAES M CLOD PVPIENVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Pupienus to right, seen from behind. Rev. VICTORIA AVGG / S - C Victory standing front, head to left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left. BMC 58. Cohen 38. RIC 23a. Thin flan crack and traces of removed deposits, otherwise, very fine.
