Philip II, 247-249. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 22.49 g, 12 h), Rome, 248. IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II to right, seen from behind. Rev. SAECVLARES AVGG / S - C Low column inscribed COS / II. Cohen 78. RIC 265a. Cleaning scratches and somewhat corroded, otherwise, very fine.
