Prokopios, silentiarios, 8th century. Seal (Lead, 31 mm, 22.18 g, 12 h). Large cruciform monogram ΘЄOTOKЄ BOHΘЄI. Rev. +ΠPΟ/ΚΟΠΙⲰ / CIΛЄNTI/APIⲰ+ in four lines. Unpublished in the standard references. An attractive and impressive early Byzantine monogram seal. Good very fine.
