Lion and sun; citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Mustanṣir billāh (AH 623-640 / AD 1226-1242) in the outer margin; around the sun, mint formula. Rev. ‘al-sulṭān al-aʿẓam / Ghiyāth al-Dunyā wa al-Dīn / Kaykhusraw ibn Kayqubād’ (‘the Great Sultan Ghiyath al-Dunya wa al-Din Kaykhusraw, son of Kayqubad’ in Arabic); above and bottom, ‘sana tisʿ [wa] thalāthīn ˗ wa sitta miʾa’ (‘Year 639’ in Arabic).
