GERMANY. Überlingen. After 1250. Bracteate (Silver, 21 mm, 0.50 g). Gryphon walking left. Rev. Incuse of obverse. CC 233. Berger 2582. Rutishauser 639. Beautifully toned and very attractive. Ragged edge, otherwise, extremely fine.

From the collection of Dr. Max Blaschegg (1930-2021, with collector’s ticket), Leu Web Auction 22, 20 August 2022, 1582, previously privately acquired from Münzen & Medaillen AG at the Zurich coin fair on 29 October 1994.
