CARIA. Antioch ad Maeandrum. Circa 90/89-65/60 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 16.00 g, 12 h), Diotrephes, magistrate for the fourth time. Laureate head of Apollo to right, with bow and quiver over his shoulder. Rev. ANTIOXEΩN - ΔIOTPΕΦΗΣ / TO TETAPTON Zebu bull standing left; all within maeander pattern. Thonemann Group A, 3 (O5/R11). Very rare. Some scratches and with minor deposits on the obverse, otherwise, good fine.
