ATTICA. Athens. Circa 420s-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 17.09 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Kroll 8. Svoronos pls. 15-17 passim. Test cut and with a banker's mark on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
