PHOENICIA. Tyre. 126/5 BC-AD 65/6. Shekel (Silver, 24 mm, 14.08 g, 12 h), CY 120 = 7/6 BC. Laureate head of Melkart to right, lion skin tied around neck. Rev. TYPOY IEP[AΣ] KAI AΣYΛOY Eagle standing left on prow, wings closed and with palm frond behind; to left, PK above club; to right, KP above monogram; between the eagle's legs, 𐤁 (B in Punic). DCA Tyre 440. HGC 10, 357 var. (unlisted date). RPC I 4648 var. (unlisted date). An extremely rare date. Some scratches, otherwise, fine.
