SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 15.16 g, 12 h), CY 31 and COS XIII = 1 BC / 1 AD. ΚΑΙΣΑΡΟΣ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΥ Laureate head of Augustus to right. Rev. ΕΤΟΥΣ AΛ ΝΙΚΗΣ / YΠΑ IΓ / ANT Tyche seated right on rocks, holding palm frond in her right hand; below, half-length figure of river god Orontes swimming right. McAlee 186. Prieur 56. RPC I 4157. Rare with this date. Lightly toned and struck in high relief. A few minor surface flaws on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
