SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Laodicea ad Mare. Caracalla, 198-217. Tetradrachm (Billon, 26 mm, 14.35 g, 12 h), 205-207. AYT KAI ANTΩNЄINOC CЄ Laureate and draped bust of Caracalla to right. Rev. ΔHMAPX•ЄΞ•YΠATOC•B• Eagle standing facing with wings spread, head to left and holding wreath in beak; between the eagle's legs, star. Bellinger 57. Prieur 1143. Light scratches on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
