P•CALP / ROMA Venus driving galloping biga to right, holding reins in her right hand and whip in her left; above, Victory flying left, crowning Venus with wreath; on the flank of the nearer horse, a star. Babelon (Calpurnia) 2. Crawford 247/1. RBW 1017. Sydenham 468. Lightly toned and with a beautiful obverse. Surface crack on the obverse and the reverse a bit rough, otherwise, extremely fine.
