Within a star of two overlapping squares, ‘lā ilāha / illā Allāh / waḥdahū’ (‘There is no deity but Allah, the One’ in Arabic). Rev. Within a square, ‘Muḥammad / rasūl / Allāh’ (‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘bism Allāh amara / bihī al-amīr / al-Walīd ibn Talīd / bi al-Mawṣil’ (‘In the name of Allah.
