Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Silvered bronze, 18 mm, 3.39 g, 12 h), Rome, 317. IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. SOLI IN-VI-CTO COMITI / A / R T Sol, nude but for chlamys, standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left. RIC -. Apparently unpublished and unique with this bust type. About extremely fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, privately acquired from John Cummings on 9 October 1990.

No other examples with the cuirassed only bust are recorded for this mint mark in RIC or on any online resource.
