Within a dotted circle, from top to bottom and right to left, ‘中華民國’ = ‘zhōnghuá mínguó’ (‘Republic of China’ in Chinese); marginal legend above, from right to left, ‘新疆喀什造’ = ‘xīnjiāng kāshén zào’ (‘made in Kashgar, Xinjiang’ in Chinese); to right and left, ‘己巳’ = ‘jǐsì’ ([month of] Jisi’ in Chinese); below, ‘當紅錢十文’ = ‘dānghóng qián shí wén’ (‘current coin, 10 cash’ in Chinese). Rev. Crossed flags with wide outlined sunbursts; above, ‘幣銅’ = ‘bì tóng’ (‘copper coin’ in Chinese). Y 44.1 (variant). A few light deposits and with some minor nicks, otherwise, very fine.
