SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos II Theos, 261-246 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 17.19 g, 12 h), Sardes. Diademed head of Antiochos I to right. Rev. [BA]ΣIΛEΩ[Σ] - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; in exergue, two monograms (one off flan). SC 519. Very rare and with a beautiful Sardian portrait. Struck from somewhat worn dies on a short flan, otherwise, about extremely fine.
