ISLANDS OFF THRACE, Thasos. Circa 168/7-148 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.52 g, 11 h). Head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath and taenia. Rev. HΡAKΛEOΥΣ - ΣΩTHΡOΣ / ΘAΣIΩN Herakles standing front, head to left, holding club in his right hand and with lion's skin draped over his left arm; in inner left field, monogram. HGC 6, 359.
