KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, circa 6-12. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 22 mm, 5.57 g, 12 h), Artagigarta (?). Draped bust of Tigranes V to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with four eagles and tied with a diadem. Rev. [B]AΣΙΛEΩΣ / TIΓPANOY - MEΓAΛOY Herakles standing front, head to left, leaning right on club and holding lion's skin draped over his left arm. Kovacs 181. Well struck and with a wonderful portrait. Slightly rough on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
