Edge serrated. Attractive earthen highlights over a dark patina. About very fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, ex Roma E-Auction 43, 3 February 2018, 837.

The purpose of such serrated pieces is debated, however, their use as weights for solidi and semisses among the numerous evidently weight-standardized pieces of around 4 and 2 grams, respectively, is very likely.
