Description

CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 375-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 8.38 g, 1 h). Ϙ Pegasos flying left. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet; below chin, Δ; behind neck guard, I and Artemis running right, holding branch over her left shoulder and torch in her right hand. BCD Corinth 133 ( this coin ). Calciati 457. HGC 4, 1848. Ravel 1081. Somewhat rough and the obverse struck off center, otherwise, very fine.
