SPAIN. Iltirta (Ilerda). Circa 200-150 BC. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 4.02 g, 1 h). Youthful bare male head to right, wearing pearl necklace; around, three dolphins. Rev. 'ILTIRTASALIRBAN' (in Iberian) Horseman galloping to right, holding palm frond in his right hand. ACIP 1233. CNH p. 176, 4. SNG BM Spain 612-5. Rare and beautifully toned. Minor marks and light scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
