CYPRUS. Salamis. Phausis (?), circa 480-460 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 11.17 g, 9 h). [𐠞𐠄/𐠪𐠩𐠃] ('pa-u/si-se-o' in Cypriot syllabic script) Ram recumbent left. Rev. Ankh-like symbol with 𐠞 ('pa' in Cypriot syllabic script) in center; around, 𐠩-𐠪-𐠐-𐠃 ('se-si-le-o' in Cypriot syllabic script); all within incuse square. BMC 29 var. CNG 123 (2023), 204. Nomos 9 (2014), 175. Tziambazis -. Zapiti & Michaelidou -. Struck from a worn obverse die and with a flan crack, otherwise, good fine.
