TROAS. Alexandria Troas. Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253. 'As' (Bronze, 22 mm, 5.10 g, 6 h). [IMP C] VIBI [TREBO GALLVS AVG] Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus to right. Rev. AVG / [TROADA] The decurions of Alexandria in session: nine men seated in a semicircle wearing togas, the two outer ones on curule chairs, the two central ones holding short staffs; beneath, ALEXAND inscribed on the upper step. Bellinger A409. RPC IX online 432. Rare and with a very interesting reverse. Corroded and porous, otherwise, fine.
