LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Circa late 3rd to early 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 17.29 g, 4 h), imitating Philip III of Macedon. Celticized head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. Celticized Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, two monograms; below throne, 𐤆; to right and below, imitative legend.
