THRACE. Perinthus. Tranquillina, Augusta, 241-244. Triassarion (Bronze, 25 mm, 7.24 g, 7 h). CΑΒΕΙΝΑ ΤΡΑΝΚΥΛΛΕΙΝΑ Draped bust of Tranquillina to right. Rev. ΠΕΡΙΝΘΙΩΝ Β ΝΕΩΚΟΡΩΝ Homonoia standing front, head to left, holding patera over lit altar with her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. RPC VII.2 621. Schönert, Perinthos 863-4. A beautiful piece with a wonderful portrait. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
