★ A sharp and very attractive stater from Lokroi Epizephyrioi ★
BRUTTIUM. Lokroi Epizephyrioi. Circa 350-275 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.70 g, 9 h). Pegasus flying left; below, thunderbolt. Rev. ΛOKPΩN Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet. Calciati 13. HN Italy 2342. Sharp, clear and very attractive. Very light marks, otherwise, good extremely fine.
From an important collection of coins from Magna Graecia and Punic Sicily, formed in the 1990s and early 2000s.
