Marcian, 450-457. Nummus (Bronze, 12 mm, 1.36 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis. D N MARCIANVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Marcian to right. Rev. Monogram of Marcian within wreath; above, cross in circle; in exergue, CON. RIC 546. A well struck and unusually complete example with fully readable legends. Good very fine.
