THRACE. Maroneia. Circa 398/7-386/5 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 13.00 g, 9 h), Metrodotos, magistrate. Horse springing to left. Rev. MHT-POΔ-OTO-Σ around linear square containing grape vine with four bunches of grapes; to left, small Boeotian shield; all within incuse square. Schönert-Geiss -. SNG Copenhagen -. A bold and attractive piece of fine style. Good very fine.
