Sixpence 1848 8 over 6 ESC 1693A, Bull 3183, in a PCGS holder and graded AU58, an extremely rare coin and missing from many advanced Sixpence collections. Our archive database stretching back to 2003 shows that we have only offered one other example in better than VF grade, that being an LCGS 78 example offered in LCA A162 2/9/2018, described as 'UNC with prooflike fields' which realised £3400 hammer price.
