Roman Empire - Gallienus in the sole reign (260-268 A.D.) Silvered bronze antoninianus (2,29 g 21 mm.). Minted in Rome, 6th officina. 6th issue, AD 260-261.

GALLIENVS AVG, radiate bust to left.
VIRTVS AVG, Virtus standing left, holding shield on ground and vertical spear; VI in right field.

MIR 36, 375y; RIC V (sole reign) 325.

Good very fine condition with silvering still remaining in many areas.
