Cooper alloy army button. 1808-1811. Button has the design of the star sunk with the garter engraved with the motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE. The button retains part of the gilt. Deeply convex.

Good very fine condition. Golden wash in perfect condition! Rare!
