Roman Empire - Vespasian (69 - 79 A.D.) Silver denarius, (2,73 g., 18 mm.) minted in Rome, A.D. 77-78.

IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG Laureate head right

COS - VIII Helmeted Mars, nude but for chlamys, standing l., holding sword in his r. hand, trophy in his left. hand; at his feet, right., corn ear.

Good very fine condition, nice silver tone.
