Gordian III (AD 238-244). AR antoninianus NGC AU. Rome, AD 243-244. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right, seen from behind / VICTORIA AETERNA, Victory standing facing, head left, palm in left hand, leaning with right hand on shield set on captive seated left. RIC IV.III 156. Condition: Very Good 3 gr. 23.5 mm.
