Mughal Empire Lot of 47 Silver Rupee Coins.

1. Jahangir, Lahore (1) Mint, Silver Rupee, Month Farwardin (Aries), 7 RY, Ornamental type, Obv: Persian legend "Noor-ud-din Jahangir Shah Akbar Shah", Rev: Persian legends month Farwardin at the top and zarb at the bottom, 10.9g, 21.93mm, (KM # 145.11), test marks, about fine.

2. Shahjahan, Kabul (1), Multan (4) & Tatta (2) Mint, Silver Rupee (7), 22 RY, Obv: Arabic legend The Kalima Shahada, Rev: Persian legend "saheb-e-qiran sani Shihab ud din Shahjahan Badshah Ghazi", 10.9g, 20.94mm, (KM # 235.13, 224.15, 235.19 & 224.18), test marks, about very fine to extremely fine.

3. Aurangzeb Alamgir, Akbarabad Mustaqir-ul-Khilafa (15), & Azimabad (4) Mint, Silver Rupee (19), AH 1117, 1118/5, 41, 43, 45, 48, 49 RY, "Badr Munir" Couplet, Obv: Persian legend "sikka zad dar jahan chu badre munir, Shah Aurangzeb Alamgir", Rev: Persian legend " sana julus & zarb, 10.5g, 22.79mm each approx, (KM # 300.6 & 300.16), test marks, about very fine to extremely fine.

4. Alamgir II, Mahendarpur (1) & Shahjahanabad Dar-ul-Khilafa (19) Mint, Silver Rupee (20), Obv: Persian legends "Taban" couplet, "khuld allahu mulkahu abul adl" type & "Badshah Ghazi", Rev: Persian legends "sana julus" & "zarb", 11.2g, 23.10mm, (KM # 460.33, 460.17, 457.1 & 458.1), test marks, about very fine to extremely fine.

Note: An interesting lot for Mughal collectors for both academic research and display as it has several different sub-varieties and sub-types., Its retail value is approximately INR 75,000.
