*Charles I, Bridgnorth-on-Severn mint, sixpence, 1646, m.m. B on obverse only, plume before King’s face, rev., Declaration in three lines, 2.82g (N. 2523; S. 3041; Morrieson A-2; SCBI Brooker 1132), slightly creased, almost very fine and rare. Formerly ex Dr E. Burstal and ex Taffs (lot 223) Collections.
