Attributed to Paolo and Francesco de Levis (Verona, early 17th century), The Holy Trinity, gilt-bronze plaquette, the image within an oval frame with scroll work and four cherubs’ heads, 95 x 81.5mm (Scaglia IX.15 (Venetian); Avery (2016), 62), very fine contemporary cast Ex Alain Edrei (1931-2021) collection, Paris [inventory number 5 in red on reverse]. The image of The Trinity is found cast into the side of a bell in the Museo di Castelvecchio in Verona, which bears the date 1617.
