Charles I, Worcester or Salopia (Shrewsbury) mint, sixpence, undated (1643-4), m.m. castle / boar's head, obv., crude crowned bust left wearing riveted armour, rev., square-topped shield with lion's paws at sides, 2.72g (Allen A-1; Brooker 1175; N. 2621; S. 3115), fine to very fine Provenance: H.A. Parsons, Glendining, 13 May 1954, lot 494 (as ‘Weymouth mint’); Dr E.
