France, French Confederation, 14 July 1790 bronze-gilt medals (3), by Gatteaux (2), France, Truth and the Public Good by plinth carrying constitution, rev., inscription in wreath, 41 and 34.5mm; and by Dupré (1), France with constitution, before the National Guard, 34 x 28.5mm, all with loops for suspension, very fine or better; Battle of Navarino, 1827, brass medal, by Boyard, head of Athena right, rev., crowns of the three allied nations with names of the respective admirals, 34mm (Eimer 1196; Diakov 466.1), extremely fine (4) From the collection of Paul Grinke.
