Description
AR Groat (25mm, 3.10 g, 10h). Type XXI. London mint; im: heraldic cinquefoil. Struck 1480-1483. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches; fleurs on cusps, rose on breast / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. Rose in reverse legend. Blunt & Whitton type XXI; North 1631; SCBC 2100.
Light iridescent tone. Good VF.
