AR Groat (25.5mm, 2.91 g, 12h). Second coinage. London mint; im: lis. Struck 1526-1544. Crowned and draped bust right (Laker D) / Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchee; saltires in forks. Whitton (iv), 2; North 1797; SCBC 2337E (this coin illustrated).
A few light marks under pleasing iridescent toning. Good VF. Bold portrait.
