Egypt, Alexandria. Dattari. Antoninus Pius, 138-161 Drachm circa 141-142 (year 5), Æ 32.50 mm., 20.30 g.
Laureate head r. Rev. Hades standing slightly r., head l., in quadriga galloping r., holding in r. hand, Persephone and in l., reins; above, Eros flying r. and rocks designating the cave entrance to Hades; in field, L-Ɛ. RPC IV.4 446 (this coin cited). Dattari-Savio Pl. 157, 8851 (this coin) and Pl. XXXXIV (this reverse illustrated).

Extremely rare, very few specimens known, of this very interesting issue. Nice brown tone, Good Fine/About Very Fine.
