Description

Heraclius, 610-641, with colleagues from January 613. Solidus Constantinople 632–635 (?), AV 20mm., 4.31g. Heraclius, with long beard, standing between his two sons, the figure of Heraclonas on the l. much smaller and uncrowned; all wear chlamys and hold globus cruciger in r. hand. Heraclius and his elder son wear crowns; in field, above Heraclonas' head, cross. Rev. Cross potent on base and three steps. In r. field, Heraclian monogram and in exergue, CONOB. DO 33. MIB 39b. Sear 758.
