Persia (Achaemenidae), Sardes Siglos circa 485-420, AR 17mm., 5.24g. Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance r., holding spear and bow. Rev. Incuse punch. Carradice Type IIIb, Group A/B. BMC 17. Sunrise 25.

Attractive old cabinet tone, Very Fine.

From a Swiss collection from Tessin assembled in the 1920’s (sold with its original ticket).
